Groups and Individual Counseling

PBIS Tier 2 Social/Academic Intervention Groups (SAIG)

Teachers and parents may refer students to SAIG due to behavioral challenges that are making it difficult for successful learning to take place. The purpose of SAIG is to teach behavioral skills that will facilitate better learning. Groups include:
Social Skills Group
Academic/Classroom Behavior Group
Problem Solving Group

Small Group Counseling

If a number of students are experiencing similar concerns, Mrs. Kindred may offer small group counseling in areas such as: grief, family change, friendship skills or building self esteem.

Brief Individual Counseling

Mrs. Kindred is available to meet with students to provide brief individual counseling.
